Its uniform and finer particle distribution, low specific surface area, and regular morphology greatly enhance the dispersion of the powder in polymer matrices, imparting better flame-retardant and processing properties to polymeric materials.

Wanfeng's DF-5 series magnesium hydroxide is a flame-retardant grade with a special crystal structure (hexagonal plate shape), featuring fine particle size and low specific surface area. Its uniform and finer particle distribution, low specific surface area, and regular morphology greatly enhance the dispersion of the powder in polymer matrices, imparting better flame-retardant and processing properties to polymeric materials.

Surface-modified (coated) magnesium hydroxide improves polymer compatibility, increases filler loading, reduces viscosity, and raises the melt flow index — making it a leading product for advanced composite materials such as plastics, rubber, and specialty cables.
